Persona 4 the Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena is now simply called, Persona 4 Arena ! Atlus had recently announced the localization of the fighting game created by both the Persona and Blazblue teams. Announced for both Xbox360 and Ps3, you can start beating your friends up this coming summer! After the break, we also have a video from Atlus Japan teaching players the basics on what P4A is all about.

Maximilian brings us hints at possible DLC and character breakdown, there is also some updated information on what’s in Store for the PS Vita and 12 announced characters for street fighter x tekken, for more info and the video, check it out after the jump!

Maximilian is back with another video focusing on Street Fighter X Tekken. He goes into detail with character breakdown showing screenshots of their alternate costumes referencing either current characters in the game or even past characters from older games such as 3rd Strike and past Tekken games. He adds that these could be hints to possible DLC characters after the games release.This just shows Capcom is not finished and that there could be more in store for the future of Street Fighter X Tekken.

*updated* There was a recent article stating that for the PS Vita there are 12 new characters being added to the the game…The Street Fighter cast will be updated with Elena, Guy, Cody, Sakura, Dudley and Blanka. The Tekken side will be updated with Alisa, Christie, Jack, Bryan, Lars and Lei. The Vita owners will have to wait until fall to buy the game but they will have a big roster to look forward to, this also probably means that these 12 characters will be added to the ps3/xbox versions as dlc.

Aquapazza is not going to be an arcade-only game for long. The game has been announced for a Ps3 release in Japan set for June!

Footage from a recent tournament in Korea has been uploaded on MadKOF’s channel on youtube. This tournament featured many great players such as Poongko, GUTS, Kensouzzang that came to compete in a unique team tournament. Each character was used by an individual player on the team, not only was this great for making the tournament run quicker, it also showed team synergy where everyone that played their one character had to be extremely proficient with them to support their teammates be it from a point, middle and anchor position. This weekend Team Spooky and 8WayRun are streaming GVN Winter Brawl 6, many top players from Canada and America will be in attendance. Featured games on the main stream are going to be UMvC3, and SSF4AE 2012. If you’re into Soul Calibur 5 that will be streamed on 8 Way Runs stream. Other games that will be run during this tournament will be Tekken 6, MK9, BlazBlue, Melty Blood, 3rd Strike and and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Ever since Tekken 5, the franchise has gotten at least one new revision : Tekken 5 Dark Ressurection, and Tekken 6 Blood Rebellion. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is no exception and is now titled Tekken Unlimited Tag Tournament 2! (That’s a mouthful!) During this year’s AOU event, Namco reveals to the public the trailer that shows a few details of what the new revision brings to us!

What is expected from all revisions other than new modes is not only a patch to fix bugs, a change to rebalance the game, and usually adding new attacks for characters, but also new characters themselves.

As a reminder :

Tekken 5:DR added Lili, Dragunov and returning character Armor King
Tekken 6:BR added Lars and Alisa

Will Namco keep the trend and add more characters? Will we ever see Kunimitsu again?

Street Fighter x Tekken is only a few weeks away from release and Capcom still keeps the trailers incoming. New to the list of revealed characters are M.Bison and Jin. This is the first footage of Jin’s actual in game footage, giving his all to protect his Zaibatsu from Bison’s filthy hands. And like a boss from their respected titles, Ogre and Akuma jump into the scene, ready to bring new ways of making you remember their names. You can watch the two trailers after the break!
