Game developers, French Bread, well known for creating the cult-hit fighting game Melty Blood, have a new project in the works named Under Night In-Birth. Those at MayonakaMidnight forums have shared new footage featuring new character Labrys, an exclusive character from Persona 4 Arena! A word of caution as the video does contain story spoilers for Yosuke’s ending at the end. Labrys appears to be the final boss character for the game, and instead of having her own persona, she uses what appears to be a shadowy creature that resembles death.

Today on Famitsu, it’s been revealed that Persona 4 Arena has a new console exclusive character named Labrys. This android is a new character not found in any of the previous Persona games and makes her debut here in Atlus’ new fighting game. Not many details have been revealed so far, but you can view some more info and screenshots after the break!

Persona 4 the Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena is now simply called, Persona 4 Arena ! Atlus had recently announced the localization of the fighting game created by both the Persona and Blazblue teams. Announced for both Xbox360 and Ps3, you can start beating your friends up this coming summer! This weekend Team Spooky and 8WayRun are streaming GVN Winter Brawl 6, many top players from Canada and America will be in attendance. Featured games on the main stream are going to be UMvC3, and SSF4AE 2012. If you’re into Soul Calibur 5 that will be streamed on 8 Way Runs stream. Other games that will be run during this tournament will be Tekken 6, MK9, BlazBlue, Melty Blood, 3rd Strike and and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. We would like to thank everyone who came down and competed in the first ever Gundam Extreme VS Tournament in Toronto! We are glad you guys came and supported us and gave the scene some love, Especially the stream viewers, hundred of people tuned in! Having a 2v2 atmosphere was definitely a great way to bring the hype and competition and it was fierce, Many teams were heavily coordinated and had great team synergy and that definitely created the advantage for many teams. We also had a successful singles tournament for the players that didn’t have a teammate and are skill honing their own personal skills! Full Results and Review after the break.
