Although Asura’s Wrath is not actually a fighting game, Capcom did add a street fighter 4 element as one of the “lost” episodes to Asura’s story. This features Ryu/Evil Ryu as a very formidable opponent to rival Asura’s overwhelming strength. There is also another Lost Episode coming out featuring Akuma in the near future, look forward to it! New footage and news have been released recently regarding the new Playstation exclusive game, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. This game has taken a lot of elements from the long time successful Smash Bros series from Nintendo, if you’re a fan of the Smash series you should definitely consider taking a further look into this new game! GameTrailers covered all the recent news for this game, along with Geoff Keighley. Outside of the fighting game scene, CyberConnect2 have made a full CGI film named, .hack//Sekai no Mukou ni for theater release in Japan. With a Blu-ray release on it’s way this coming June, CyberConnect2 have created a new fighting game to be included with the movie’s Hybrid Pack. This new fighting game is called .Hack//Versus.

A new trailer has been revealed for the game showing off more fights between Ayane and her rival Kasumi. Both characters have gotten new looks giving the game a much more mature look and less doll-looking than usual. At halfway through the video a familiar jingle from Sega’s fighting game chimes in as Virtua Fighter’s Akira joins in as Dead or Alive 5′s guest character. Not much info is revealed thus far, but will there be more Virtua Fighter cameos for the game?
