Starting today and lasting the whole weekend, the best players from around the world gather to be part of yearly history. An amazing documentary has been uploaded by G4 regarding the journey of Mike Ross becoming a top player and his road to EVO! If you remember, this was actually announced a fair bit ago and has recently just finished and is now a full fledged film. covering the months before and during EVO2010, you can watch and experience a bit of the tournament life of Mike Ross. A great watch for any person in the fighting game scene and a great documentary nonetheless!

On the topic of changes, when namco brought over Tekken Tag Tournament 2 to Comic Con, alot of players took the liberty to check on some changes to many different characters! checking new properties, frame changes and overall new moves, there was alot of dramatic and subtle changes that were noticed throughout the weekend! There is also an archive of the stream that was playing all weekend, showing some matches from notable players like MYK, Rip and Aris! Gamespot caught up with Soul Calibur V info during the Comic Con! Talking to the producer and also having a stage demo showing the current build of the game, revealing the details of the new features in SCV. It goes into visual and verbal detail of the new Brave Edge and Critical Edge, along with a new quick sidestep move, something like Tekken’s quick step. It’s practically the first true video of direct feed gameplay so it’s a great video to check out!

Alot of new info has came out from the Comic Con regarding Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. Being the first place to actually give the game a whirl, many players checked the changes that happened to their characters along with any sudden announcements for the game. I’ve posted a link to the list of changes that are currently known, a video with the stream content that was from the Capcom Unity stream and the UMvC3 Panel that introduced the new costumes and “special treat” trailer! Capcom has started to go back to their normal trailers for the upcoming Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 by doing character trailers! New trailers for Strider, Firebrand, Ghostrider and Hawkeye have been posted up and it shows the potential of each character, some cool stuff check it out!

Gamespot has posted up videos covering capcoms upcoming fighting games being shown over at Comic Con! They’ve posted 2 videos talking to Seth Killian about Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and Street Fighter x Tekken! Talking to Seth about the air x factor and nerfs and buffs in Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. They also talk to Seth about Street Fighter x Tekken regarding some new features like the “Cross Assault” and how the new characters are coming along! Lastly they have a video of the whole Capcom Booth in comic con and it’s actually an interesting and very wacky watch if you wanted to know every piece of information coming from capcom!
